David Winpenny is an experienced lecturer - he is accredited to THE ARTS SOCIETY and has regularly spoken on cruise ships, for P&O , Voyages of Discovery, Fred. Olsen Lines and Ambassador Cruise Line and aboard the Hebridean Princess .

He offers interesting, well-illustrated and often-humorous talks on a number of subjects, including  country houses, follies and garden buildings, and on architectural and garden history. His subjects also include stained glass, literary fakes, coronations – and the first ascent of the Matterhorn.
